Dr Ravinder Banwait

Dr Ravi is a fully qualified Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He is happy to see all aspects of general practice including Workcover and TAC claims. He has a special interest in skin conditions, dermatology and skin cancer. As well as normal general practice consultations, Dr Ravi enjoys working as a Skin Cancer Doctor, offering single spot/mole checks, full body skin checks, skin cancer management of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers including cryotherapy, surgical and non-surgical options. Dr Ravi performs a regular minor surgery list for cosmetic skin lesion removals such as cysts, moles, skin tags, lipomas, warts amongst others.

Dr Ravi studied at both Kings College London and University of Birmingham, UK, graduating from his medical studies in 2011. He worked in hospital for 4 years in various specialities and went on to complete his specialist GP training. He undertook additional qualifications in skin cancer, holding a ‘Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine’, ‘Professional and Advanced Certificates of Skin Cancer Surgery’ through Healthcert, and ‘Certificate of Practical Dermoscopy’ through The Australasian College of Dermatologists.
