Effective from 25th July 2022, we will be transitioning to mixed billing. We will continue to bulk bill standard & long consultations (face to face and telehealth) for the following patients:
- Children under 16
- Centrelink Concession card holders
- Pension card holders
- ATSI peoples registered with us under Close the Gap
- Department of Veteran Affairs card holders
- Flu immunisations (where no other matter is discussed)
- Accepted Workcover patients (unless special provisions apply)
- Accepted TAC patients
We will also bulk bill all Care Plans (Mental Health & EPC) and Health Assessments. All new patients will be charged a long consult on their first visit. Any patient who has not attended the clinic in the last two years with be regarded as a new patient.
If you have registered your account details with Medicare, we are able to send your claims directly to Medicare for immediate credit to your account. Our Tyro system allows us to charge your account and for Medicare to rebate you as soon as possible. For all telehealth consultations you will need to claim the rebate yourself. Please ask our friendly staff for more details.
We request payment at the time of consultation for all our private patients. We accept cash and Eftpos including credit cards (Visa, MasterCard). If you require more time or have complex medical issues, we recommend arranging a double appointment. All other patients will be required to pay $75.00 for a standard consultation, the Medicare rebate is $39.75, out of pocket cost of $35.25.
Shared care patients will be charged a Level C $115.00, the Medicare rebate is $76.95, out of pocket cost of $38.05. All new patients to the clinic will be required to pay $115.00, the Medicare rebate is $76.95, out of pocket cost of $38.05. Telehealth will be $75.00 and patients will have to claim their rebate from Medicare.
These billings are for all VR Doctors. Different fees and rebates apply to Non-VR Doctors (full price list on our fees page). Fees are subject to change without notice. Dr. Vijay Navani’s and Dr Cesar Tan’s current Workcover patients will be bulk-billed.
